Hey Guys.

My name is Moazzam, From Pakistan, Currently in the UAE.
So, I'm on a tight budget and found a good deal on a 2500k i5 a guy was selling off.
My Question is, how good would u rank this system for gaming and for the price I'm getting it.

I am not a very hardcore gamer and I don't really want to max out the graphics details, I only care about the game running smooth af. mostly gonna play GTA IV/V, Need for speed or assassins creed games, maybe occasionally League of Legends and Battlefield.

Processor: 2500k i5 (Regular Cooler)
Motherboard: ASROCK z68 Pro3 M
Ram: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1600mhz
PSU: 750Watts
GPU: ZOTAC GTX580
Also thinking of adding a Sandisk SSD 240GB along-with my 3x already present 1TB Seagate Harddrives and reserve the partition for games (Although it bumps my max budget and I would like to purchase it a couple of months later if possible).

Do you guys have any review or experiences on any of the products listed above, because I haven't really seen the ASROCK Mobos in the markets alot, so I was wondering If you guys could tell me how well this rig will perform.
Btw I'm getting it total (excluding the SSD) for around 1100 Dirhams (around 300US$). (SSD is 300 Dirhams= 80US$)

Any information or reviews will be highly appreciated. Thanks guys.

And sorry if something wrong with the placement of this thread or anything else. New Here. :D

Happy gaming.

For 300 USD not bad the 2500K processor can still hold it's own for gaming when overclocked a bit.
The video card is fairly dated but still should have good performance.
The Pro 3 boards are fairly low end so don't do much overclocking.

The base speed should be fine for you, although that GPU may not be able to play Medium details on some of those games (Ex: Assassin's Creed, Battlefield). A GPU I would recommend would be a GTX 960.

GTX 960 goes way above my current budget, in the UAE it's a very small market and shit like GPUs and Gaming stuff is very overpriced! I'm lucky actually to be getting this GPU this cheap. normally its almost double in price haha :D
Although I can look into a aftermarket cooler.

so, plot twist, due to some shit that went down, I ended up purchasing 4x2GB PC10600 ram, instead of the HyperX.
Will it cause any issues with this motherboard(ASROCK z68 Pro3 M)? because the motherboard is due to arrive after 2 days.

UPDATE:
The rig is performing much more smoothly than anticipated
Upgraded to RipJawZ 1600 16GBs(4GBx4)
But as stated by @Zerk2012 , the board has poor overclocking potential, started having issues (frequent restarting and unresponsiveness) when tried to overclock past 4.2ghz, sticking with that. Got a 10$ Deepcool 120mm PWM fan cooler so it remains under good temperature.

Managed to get as high fps as following
Witcher 3, 720p, Max Detail, avg 35-45fps
GTA V, 720p, High Detail, 25-28 fps
GTA V, 720p, Medium Detail, 35-55fps
Cities Skylines, 720p, Max Detail, 45-60 fps (Dropped to about 18-25 when city was fully built, cpu probably bottlenecked)
Crysis, 720p, Ultra Detail, 45-65 fps (No AA)
Plus I've been able to run even the newest titles on low-medium settings (720p) without any fps hiccups.

So im getting pretty good performance with a system this cheap.

Note: Gonna Upgrade to a z77 Sabertooth with a gtx970 on SLI or a Radeon R9 Fury on Crossfire soon so I'll be trying more overclock as well (I should be fine on a 750w psu....right...?)

Peace.
