I was recently looking into upgrading my components on my PC. Since the stock GT630 wasn't doing the job I decided to start there. I decided that the 970 was the best bet. So I began to look into it and saw that there was a forum post over on Nvidia's community that stated they had problems a couple of years ago. I also am concerned about the 500W PSU. My main question is will I be able to upgrade?

Solution
500W power supplies, some are good some are bad. Meaning they have a label that says 500 but they can't really deliver it. All you can do is try it. There is no definitive way that I can say yea or nae ...

I found the exact Power Supply in my System (PS-6451-5AE - Power Supply 500W Liteon For Acer shown here: http://www.impactcomputers.com/ps-6451-5ae.html) and I have already checked that it has the correct PCIe plugs (Assuming that they're the only 6 prong plugs).
I think that this is the correct Mobo here except I have 12 gigs of ram. (http://www.game-debate.com/motherboard/index.php?mot_id=1410)

And the OS I have is Windows 10.
