Hello..

- Planning to upgrade my 4,5 year old rig for 1080P fluid gaming purposes. Shall i be able to run a GTX 960 OR GTX 970 4GB card with my current PSU and MOBO?

- Is my existing PSU is ok GTX 960 should i go with it?

- I read a lot of problems regarding TT LITEPOWER 700W. If the PSU is a possible problem shall a corsair vs650 do the trick for gtx 970 or 960 ??http://www.corsair.com/en/vs-seriestm-vs650-650-watt-power-supply

CPU: İ5 2500K (STOCK 3.3 GHZ, RUNNING AT 4.5GHZ WITH OC)
MOBO: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3
RAM: DDR3 800 HZ GSKILL RIPJAWS 4GIGS X 2 (TOTAL 8GB)
PSU: THERMALTAKE LITEPOWER 700W
HDD: 500 GB 7200 RPM SATA
SDD: 240 GB SANDISK ULTRA
CASE: THERMALTAKE COMMANDER
OPTICAL DRIVE: PIONEER DVD WRITER
EXISTING GPU: ASUS GTX 560 1GB

Any help or experience will be appreciated!

Can you confirm my 700W Thermaltake Litepower shall be allright for a MSI, ASUS or EVGA GTX 970? The local "experts" here said they had some problems with my planned upgrade (system shutdown, BSOD, not booting etc etc)

Thank you.

Thanks to your replies, i bought a msi gtx970 oc gaming 4g gpu.
CPU is running at 4.4 ghz. (Stock 3.3)
GPU is running at OC mode (MSI GAMING APP)

No problems so far. Looping with 3D MARK for hours. However test results are around 10 percent lower than top scores (similar systems).

Any specific setting in ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 BIOS thats creating a bottleneck?
