I am installing a new motherboard in a Corsair Carbide 200R case. My previous mobo was an m5a99x evo r2.0 (atx) and not I am installing my Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H. They're both ATX boards, and I have an ATX case. The standoffs aren't alining properly with the ud3h. Is it bad if some of the standoffs touch the bottom of the motherboard?

Solution
Form factors are standardized throughout the industry. The holes in your new motherboard should align with your case's motherboard tray standoffs.

Excuse my ignorance. I had aligned the board improperly. I now see that the other standoffs are for larger ATX boards.
