I have a 2.1 system. So I plug in my subwoofer through the rear audio jack and there are two ports on the subwoofer in which the speaker cables are put in. Now a while back one of the two ports started having this problem where if I plug in any of the speakers it gives out a very loud static noise. Therefore one of the speakers are unusable. I tried alternating between the ports and speakers but it is always was the same port. I like listening to music on my speakers but some parts of the audio are barely recognizable such as the low piano parts of Baba O'Reily by The Who. Pretty annoying. Please reply fast with possible solutions.

Make sure there is no debris up inside the problem port.

Is the port solid and secure and will not move or wiggle?

Does the plug fit in type and snug with no movement?

Are you able to open up the subwoofer to inspect the port connection on the inside for a loose connection, short, corrosion etc.?

Probably not much else to do unless you can get down to the board level (soldered components) and troubleshoot accordingly.
