gtx 960 vs gtx 970 vs gtx 980, whats the difference other than fps?

I mean, will I be getting more clear, good & real image than gtx 960 in gtx 970??.
Also similarly more clear, good & real image than gtx 970 in gtx 980??
Also similarly more clear, good & real image than gtx 980 in gtx 990?? and so on......??

OR

There would be only fps difference??
(960<970<980 & so on....)

At that level, you're starting to see diminishing returns on FPS per dollar spent.

Here's a chart that shows the performance per dollar spent. The website gets a ton of benchmarking data you can sift through but this chart shows the performance per dollar spent.

The more money you spend, the less of an increase you'll see in performance per dollar.

You obviously have to weigh that against the performance you're looking for.

Personally, I think the 960 and 970 are the best performance per price point and that's only if you have a monitor or monitors that gives you over 60 FPS. Higher than that, you're paying a butt load for a performance increase you're not likely to see unless you have other parts of your rig that match that level of performance.
