Hey, I am building on skylake (finally this year) and what to put 4x4 stick of ram around 2666 mhz. I wanted G.skill and they are too expensive. So I always liked Kingston and I was thinking about Carsair? Can you help me compare them somehow or recommend some?

I'd go the Ripjaws V (a little less than the Trident Z and 2x8GB is better on Skylake, less stress on the MC (memory controller) than 4x4GB and still allows for better performance by using dual channel mode rather than a single 1x16GB in single channel

That motherboard uses Dual Channel memory, buy the memory is sets of 2 or 4, 4 will work but adds extra stress on the memory controller and you will get no extra performance over using just 2 sticks.
If you had a X99 motherboard then it is a quad channel motherboard made to use memory in sets of 4 sticks for the best performance.
