Are LGA 1366 Mounting Methods Interchangeable?

I would like to mount the EK-XLC Predator to my ASUS Rampage III Gene (LGA 1366) that currently has an i7-990x. Is this possible? The informational page says the Predator is compatible with Intel LGA-1150/1151/1155/1156 and LGA-2011(-3), but the website's support claims it can be mounted to an LGA 1366 board.

I don't know what to think.

I don't know. Beyond them confirming it will work you're just looking for our confirmation? I don't have one to compare but as listed here: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EKWB/Predator_240/ it's compatable. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

If the website that produces it specifically claims it supports it then it should. If you need more confirmation then e-mail their support.

Let me clarify, I did email their support who said "We can confirm that EK-XLC Predator is compatible with LGA 1366 mounting." I don't know if this is accurate though. I am wondering if this can physically work.
