I've cleaned out my old drivers, I've installed drivers directly from the Nvidia site, I've checked for possible anti-virus interference, and I've come up with little.

I have full desktop function in 1080p (24" lcd monitor) and can open and play videos in 1080p with little difficulty. My CPU usage is high on all four cores of my Intel Core 2 quad 2.4gHz when fullscreen, but video quality is still generally maintained.

The issues arise when I attempt to open a game such as Fallout NV, or League of Legends; the client will load, or for Fallout the main menu, but when attempting to render, the screen will (for Fallout) turn black, as though the game were about to load, then state the the game failed to initialize renderer, or that my resolution isn't support. For LoL, the game doesn't render either, except I receive a client message asking me to reconnect stating that the game has crashed. Other games have similar issues on startup, not rendering the game. My motherboard is compatible with the card, detecting and using it, and my psu seems to be working as expected. I just continue to have these issues, Anyone have some tips for a new computer builder?
