So this happened a few days ago. I was using my PC, got hungry and went to the kitchen for about half an hour leaving my PC on. When I came back I noticed that my PC was turned off (It wasn't in sleep mode because when it is a white light is flashing). Turned it on again and a message appeared "Reboot and Select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device" (I have a 120GB SSD where I have Windows, some programs, games etc. and a 1TB HDD where I store the rest of my stuff). I rebooted and went to BIOS and my SSD wasn't there, it completely vanished. I shut off my PC opened it up and switched SATA cables tried other SATA ports but that didn't help the SSD was still gone. :??:
Later I looked my problem up on some forums and found a thing called Power Cycling but only on threads for some Crucial M4 SSD.
Is my SSD dead? Is there a way to fix it? Please help! :(

Unfortunately no, I can't. I only have 1 PC.
Is it a thing that when a drive with an OS dies the PC shuts off?
I found out that some SSDs disappear after a sudden power cut and they can be often revived back in some sort of way by power cycling it. Because it indeed did look like a power cut happened.
Do you think I should try doing that? And would it invalidate the warranty in some way because if that doesn't work I will definetely send it back and try get a new one.
