I am looking forward to buy a new smartphone, after a few months. I also know that maybe the S7 will be launched in that amount of time, but I am really confused btw. the S6 and the 6P.
Can anyone suggest me which is the better of the two?

I generally do a little bit of gaming and also listen to music 1hr a day. My main points are the camera, display, multimedia and the gaming performance. also I feel that the 6p is too big a device. Also the S6 has an IR blaster which I regularly use. I also know that the 6p has front facing speakers and a bigger display, but i am troubled by the SD810 because of its heating problems.

Also I live in india and samsung has better after-sales service than huawei. The 64GB variant of the S6 is cheaper than the 64gb variant of the 6P .

Please suggest me a phone with a suitable explaination

Hi ,

I am not being funny or rude, but you just answered your own question :

"... samsung has better after-sales service than huawei. The 64GB variant of the S6 is cheaper than the 64gb variant of the 6P ."

I personally have a S6 and love it, but I cannot comment on the 6P. But if I was looking for new phone I would go S6 as it is cheaper with better after sales service as you mentioned.

Since you own an s6 how would you comment on the gaming performance, audio, display, battery life and camera.
Also what do you think about the new Touchwiz?

I don't really play any games on it, Audo is very good IMO,Battery life is ok'ish. My battery at the end of the day is at about 20-40% , I YouTube alot when I am home. My BT , WiFi and Data is permanently on. I have a DSLR for photos but the quality of the camera is very goodI like the fact that it can do 4K video at 30fps. And the wireless charging is AWESOME. In my country ( South Africa) Samsung gives you a free screen/water damage repair within 2 years of purchase, that is why I choose the S6.

You can look here : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-smartphones,4230.html & https://www.androidpit.com/galaxy-s6-vs-nexus-6p-comparison if you have not already seen it.

Sorry I am not of much more help.

Hey, sorry to but in but... I own an S6, and I have to say, it's fantastic. The camera is very good. High quality and it takes pictures quite fast and has lots of features such as 30fps 4k video recording, or 120fps 720p. I use mine to listen to music and play games etc on my way to and from work. I also make lots of calls during the day, Honestly, I saw the IR blaster as nothing more than a gimmick at first, but I've surprised myself by how much I use it. Pretty much every Every IR enabled device in my home can be controlled by my phone now :D The sound quality of the speaker is impressive, given the size of the phone. I've never really been a big fan of mobile gaming, but that's mostly because a lot of previous phones that I've owned have struggled performance wise, but the S6 seems to have no problems whatsoever, It doesn't get hot like previous phones, and the battery doesn't go from 100% to 60% in the blink of an eye. I leave home at 8am, and return at 8pm, and my battery is usually at around 15% capacity, I have a wireless charger for it, which is nice, but I also use the Fast charge unit if I need to go out again at night, and it charges the phone completely in a little over an hour. The only downside to the phone is that it can be a little slippery. The back of the phone is glass, and the satin-like rounded edges can take some getting used to. Other than that, I couldn't recommend any other phone right now, other than a Note 4, which I consider about equal to the S6, albeit for different reasons. :)
