hi sir, do you know what is the specific model of that cooler. Label says it comes from cooler master.

No, and doesn't really matter. The cooler tower has nothing to do with the fan.

If you are really confused about it, just go buy a hyper 212 evo and call it a day. That cooler looks like it's been through too much

maybe i really need to clean this up to look like new and add a decent fan. I don't have the money to buy new one.

Hyper 212 evo costs ~30bucks, a PWM fan with clips will be ~15 bucks. If you can afford a fan you can afford that cooler.

Hey,

Use a 3-pin fan (voltage) if that's what your motherboard supports. If 4-pin for the CPU_Fan header then use 4-pin (PWM) fan instead.

There are compatible CLIPS and the cooler mounts properly?

As said, just MEASURE the fan to see. I'd suspect a 12cm fan but it's really hard to tell.

I believe that's 3-pin for the fan.

$20 may sound expensive when a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO isn't much more but this fan is better than what an EVO has so as long as the heatsink you have is similar you'll get a much quieter setup.

Make sure you setup FAN CONTROL in software (motherboard support site if possible), and get a quality, VARIABLE fan so it can be controlled.
