I've searched endlessly for the past 3 hours to no avail.

As stated above, I installed a new SSD with the intention of having the OS run off it (Win7) all installed well until I noticed that my display was only being projected at 720 so the screen wasn't filled. Tried to switch to 1080 only to find that my display adapter wasn't there, and it was running off of my on board VGA, which is strange because all of my cords are running through the graphics card.

In device manager it is shown as being an unknown device, I'd read a whole heap of stuff saying that there wasn't enough power, that it could be broken or the possibility that it wasn't put in correctly. I reset my BIOS back to default, my OS ran off of my old HDD and everything is fine, graphics card is showing no problems.

So my overall question here is why would my Card not display on my SSD but works fine with the HDD. I'm incredibly tired and hopefully I'm not just rambling here, but if any of you tech guru's have idea's or need any other information I will gladly supply it. I got the SSD as a gift from Santa and I would not like to waste the big mans time and money. :D

Find out if your card is AMD or Nvidia and go to the corresponding website. Download the latest drivers. If you need to find out what the card is the download something like GPU-Z. When you open it there should be a look up button beside your graphics card. Click it and it will tell you.

Already done did that brother, when I attempt to install the new driver just comes up with a random Error, Something along the lines of "Error Nz ...." something similar to that, I'm running off of my HDD atm so I wouldn't be able to tell you what it exactly says, but It's gibberish. Makes no sense to me..
