Hi there before I get started I am going to list some of my specs:
GPU: MSI R9 270X
CPU: AMD FX-4350
PSU: CX430M
MOBO: GIGABYTE ga-970a-ds3p
8gb of ram as well.
Currently I'm in the market to upgrade my PSU, CPU, GPU AND MOBO it's pretty much a whole new build I guess.
I've looked around for quite a bit of time and here's what I found that I think I should upgrade to:
GPU: MSI GTX 970
CPU: I5 4690k
PSU: need some help on this one :///
MOBO: MSI Gaming 5 Intel socket (swapping amd processors with intel as you can tell)
that comes in at about 830$ minus the PSU
I'm going to be getting the MOBO and CPU for my birthday on June 6th and I will install them alongside my r9 270x I KNOW this is not recommended but I don't mind capping the potential of my CPU for a while until christmas when I plan to get the gtx 970.
Can I have some recommendation for power supply or any pointers if I got something wrong just any help?
