Ive made a topic before but when the answers came and I put the system together it quickly boiled down to 2500$. Problem is that my wife is a gamer too and I would want her to have the same PC as I have so that would make it 5000$.

I find it very annoying cuss Im on a budget and 5000$ maxes it out. I would love to get some gaming chairs cuss mine are old and broken.. but I can't fit them in the budget anymore.
So the question is, of all the below mentioned hardware... do you guys know of cheaper stable & high performing hardware that cost less and give me the same experience?
(Main goal is gaming, want to have a good FPS at 2560×1440 - favored games = RPG, MMO, Adventure & FPS)

- Intel Core i7-6700K - Boxed
- MSI Z170A Gaming M7
- Corsair Vengeance LPX - DDR4 3000Mhz C15 Kit Zwart - 16GB
- Acer XB270HU
- MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti - Gaming - 6GB GDDR5
- Corsair Force LS V2 - 240GB x 2

Plz tell me if you believe you know an equal or better hardware part for gaming at 1440p on 27" plz.
If you believe I shouldn't change anything, I would appreciate that aswell!

I think I'd like to know more about what you want in a Gaming PC first. So first of all, why a budget of 2500 dollars? Does it absolutely have to be as high end as possible? What type of performance do you want to expect from your future Gaming PC?

Well this is the problem... I only have money to buy 2 pc's every 5 years cuss im on a tight budget.. so I want to make sure I can play everything on high settings now and medium settings at the end of those 5 years. My post is mainly based on the fact that a lot of mainboards have a lot of gimmicks on them that I don't realy need... And I've got no clue how much diffirence DDR4 2133 will make Vs 3200Mhz... I did some googling but its all soo unclear as far as gaming is concerned...

So my question is, do you think I chose the right equipment or do you think that there's cheaper hardware that gives me the same performance (without the gimmicks) at 1440p?

An honest answer is appreciated.
