I checked other posts where this was adressed, but with different components, and i couldnt find a solution. So i'll give it a go:
Will the following fit together? like, will there be enough space for the ram with this cooler?
RAM:G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Motherboard: MSI Z170A GAMING M7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler´
Case: NZXT H440 (White/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case

Thanks in advance, and hope you can enlighten me.

So that answers if the cooler goes onto the motherboard, but will the RAM then still fit? Im not thinking if these parts fit together, im thinking if there is room enough for the ram, with this cooler, on this motherboard. Or does it automatically mean that it wont block any of the RAM slots?

look at the height of your ram and the height of the cooler, it looks like clearance wise it will fit but you might have to install the ram first if the cooler overhangs... personally i'd rather have a taller heatsink then one that hangs over my ram but whatever.

from those links, as far as i can see, it wont fit. Might fit in two of the slots, but for future purposes i think thats not going to cut it. Might be worth just getting a different cooler instead. Thanks for your help! much appreciated!

you know my cooler it showed clearance issues but I turned the cooler 180 deg. and there were no issues -- they may of set the cooler up at its least clearance - see how they got the pipes pointed at the ram slots ?? just spin the cooler around and the pips on the other side away from the slots and may work out fine [now that don't help height clearance with the cooling fins ]

my buddy had a tower type cooler and he just took a dermal tool and cutting wheel and trimmed off the bottom few fins to make room on his ??

like here why not put the fan on the other side ??
