How can I create a new partition out of unallocated space on a boot drive?

Ok, so I just installed Windows 7 on a 4 TB drive. I had it as a GPT but Windows forced me to change it from GPT to MBR when I was doing the install. It said something about GPT couldn't be used. I figured I would just use that partition later.

I actually just realized I need to use that partition now. I want to create a E drive out of it but I cannot do anything with that space because it is a boot drive and all my options are grayed out in disk management for the unallocated space.

I'm ok and actually in favor of this not all being one drive but I do want to partition the unallocated space. Is there a way for me to do this without wiping the HDD and starting over? I have used about 1.8 terabytes and I have been setting up some things on it already before I realized I would need that E directory.

Thanks

Try what/where exactly? I don't see anywhere in BIOS to set partitions. I know just enough to screw things up royally it seems.
