Pci-e 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot

Will this work? And if so do u mind suggesting me a card to play Black ops 3 on at least medium settings that is under $130? (It can be pci-e 2.0 or 3.0 obviously) It will be paired with an intel core i5 4430. Thanks.If it doesnt work, any suggestions on 2.0 slot cards with the same price range?

Not a problem.
Pcie 3.0/2.0 is both forward and backward compatible.
And... no modern graphics card is meaningfully slowed by running 2.0.

I like EVGA as a brand for good support.
I like GTX750ti in your price range. It is more power efficient than the amd equivalents.
Actually, ANY $130 card either amd or nvidia will perform about the same.
