Computer randomly turning off during low/high use

This problem has been happening for over a month now. My custom built computer will just turn off i can be watching netflix playing a game or on facebook and it will just turn off. i have brought my computer into a microcenter and was told there diagnostic test showed all the hardware working and deemed it a software problem and nothing else they can do since the problem wasn't triggered by anything specific. prior to giving my computer to them i had done a fresh install of windows 8. When i got the computer back i tried to install windows 10 hoping 8.1 was causing the issue,my computer was unable to update to 10 it would turn off halfway through or just restart. i bought a new hard drive assuming it may be a bad drive and after two tries i was about to install windows 10 the problem counties. I have opened the case and made sure everything was connected properly and all fans working. When the problem first started no new programs or settings where made or downloaded. I am at a complete loss on what the problem is and would love to hear any ideas thanks in advance.

I would poke your PSU to be the culprit in this event as the power cuts out randomly. Have you encountered any error reports from your OS? I'd suggest that you try and rule out your drivers as the culprit by removing and reinstalling them with the latest drivers found off AMD's site. You should use display driver uninstaller before proceeding to install your GPU drivers. Provided your temps are well in order and the system isn't shutting down due to an overheating issue. Case airflow good? You can rule out the rams by running memtest86.commemtest86 for 10 passes and if any errors come up they are the culprit. Go along with each stick in each slot to rule out if the slots are defective in itself...

All of the above are precautionary measures though I'd ask you to borrow a PSU of similar wattage from a different brand from a friend and hook it up to your system and see if the issue is replicated. Mind you if you've installed your copy of Windows 10 via the free upgrade path then you'll need to revert to your older OS as any new hardware introduction even so much as a cable swap can make Windows 10 go belly up.
