So I'll just cut to the chase here's my build:
i5 4690k
8GB ram
Asrock H81M VGR4 R2.0
GTX 970 4GB
Xilence XP600W performance
ITB toshiba hdd

So is this worth it? It will cost me €850 so like $900. Would chucking out my ps4 for this be worth it? If you have any other builds you would recommend for me make sure they are now more than $900

It's a very good system. It should last 3-7 years for 1080p at very decent settings. (3 years if you want to max out, etc etc)

Oh, most people say that the AMD equivalent to the 970 is better. Check it out. Not sure if it's the 390 or 390x or 380x. One of those. Shouldn't be hard to find.

Yeah I think I'll swap out the gtx 970 for an Msi r9 390 thanks!

A GTX 970 is already not suited for maxing out games, if you consider maxxing out the highest AA, god rays, all those crazy things. 7 years from now, oh geeze, 970 will not be playing on decent settings. 3 years, yeah it'll be fine, probably a low-medium setting card.

Yeah I'm going with the MSI R9 390 8GB instead
