I asked a friend to help me upgrade my old rig so I could enjoy Fallout 4 on higher end settings. His suggestions resulted in my purchasing:

I'm using my Corsair 850w PSU and on the initial boot after installing the new components left me with a screen that said the mobo recognized my CPU but it was not on the supported list. I cleared my CMOS and now the computer won't even turn on.
Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate help.
