Do I Ned Precision X Software to Use the EVGA 980 TI?

I plan on buying the EVGA 980 TI Superclocked+ ACX+ but I am not sure if I am required to use the card. If I dont have the software, are the fans going to spin full speed? What is Precision X for? Is my card going to run at its fullest capability without the software? Also, probably a dumb question, but all drivers, regardless of manufacturer (EVGA, Gigabyte), I get from the GeForce website for all NVIDIA cards right? Thanks in advance.

No i want to know whether or not any special software is required to use the card. Do I need to install Precision X to use the card at its full potential?

You don't need to use it.

It will still perform like it should , that SOFTWARE IS USUALLY FOR OVERCLOCKING.

All right thanks. Theother question. All nvidia card drivers come from geforce.com regardless of the manufacturer right? whether or not it comes from msi or evga, all the drivers should be the same from geforce.com?
