Hi, my brother mistakenly put his finger in the 212 and a fan blade broke. I wasn't around when it happened but I only discovered it when I put on the pc and heard a loud grating noise, and upon inspecting saw that he glued the broken blade and it was hitting around the edges of the fan case. In this state, my PC only powers up for about 4 seconds with nothing showing on the monitor, then shuts down and automatically reboot, unless I take off the psu via the switch. I also held a 90mm fan against the heatsink, with a household fan almost in the case to see if the pc will turn on, but it had the same result. My question is will buying a new 120mm fan fix the problem? Also are those signs that maybe the cpu died? Unfortunately I don't have any mobo speakers installed to hear any beeps. Any help appreciated.
