I Need Help Picking The Right GPU to Crossfire

Short version:
I have the R9 270X

and I want to crossfire another GPU for better performance.

I want to upgrade with a compatible and efficient card (ideally with 4GB of memory.)

Should be fine. But before you do that, let's check your motherboard to be sure it does CF at x8, x8 lanes minimum. Let us know the make.model of the board.

That would be preferable, yes. My experience with x4 lane PCIe x16 slots has been dismal. Especially with low and mid range cards.
