Lately I find that sometimes my computer will randomly shut off, and it will not turn back on unless I flip the switch on the back of the power supply at least once or twice... All my temperatures are normal so I don't think it's overheating. How can I pinpoint whats wrong? I don't have much money to just be guessing and replacing random parts until I get lucky.
Could it possibly be the power supply is starting to fail? It's a thermaltake black widow 850w from like 2010.

Solution
The black widow is just a rebadged TR2ktr2s are notoriously bad) the fact you have one that managed to last this long is an accomplishment in itself. Given your description of the symptoms the psu seems the likely culprit.

Hello,

I actually posted a similar question yesterday, and decided to get a new power supply for my computer.

My computer would run fine, but it would randomly shut off and wouldn't come back on unless I flipped the hard switch on the power supply. Now the thing completely dies down after a few seconds of being turned on.

Hopefully this new power supply will solve my problem.

Also, it was brought to my attention that my power supply is still under warranty. Check to see if your power supply is under warranty as well.
