GTX 750Ti should be the best you can get for that much.

Was gonna be my pick but, my local store and Australia stores are all currently out of stock it seems, i am willing to increase the budget to 250 though. (the reason i don't want to wait is i actually ordered that card about 4 months ago for Christmas, but the supplier ran outta stock and would have made me wait till the end of February and id like to receive the card in the next few weeks.) so is there anything else you can recommend?
r9 380 is cheaper but it does require a bit more power... whats ur psu?????
500 watt penguin, but my PSU doesn't have a 6 pin cable, i was planning on buying a adapter to turn one of the cables into to one, would u know what adapter i would need?
i would suggest get a decent quality psu rather than using adapters..... if u have a tight budget get a decent psu first cuz low quality once can damage ur parts... when u get one then go for a new gpu
Nono don't go for adapters, either go for a new PSU + stronger card, or go for GTX 750ti Evga SC (or some other which does not require a 6pin or anything).
ginger bread is right going for adapter is will damage ur gpu... 750ti is a good card which doesnt require a separate power....
I was kinda put off with the 750 because i heard a lot about it will becoming old soon and not being able upcoming games, i would like the card to work well for at least 2 years and be able to run pretty much all games will it be able to do this?
