Upgrading my system - Need some advice

Hi all,

I currently have a Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 motherboard with a AMD A8-6600K processor and integrated graphics and I'm looking to get into gaming with the system for decent frame rates and visuals.

I'm looking at getting a R9 380 - As this seems to be a good price and performance looks pretty decent. I know I will not get 100% out of the card due to CPU limitations but I will get a new CPU and Mobo in the future to allow the card to run at its full potential.

I'm just wondering will an R9 380 fit on my motherboard? It has a PCI-E 16x slot but I'm concerned that the card will rub against components on the Mobo - so I'm just asking for a second opinion.

The 380 will fit into the MB, but you need to make sure two things.
1) The GPU will fit into your case or not, check the space for the GPU, like in the link http://www.antec.com/images/product_detail/One/Big/03.jpg find the GPU dimension and make the measurement.
2) Your PSU can power up the r9 380 or not. PSU requirements for the GPU. http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

Thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure the card will fit in my case after asking on Amazon.

I'm looking at PSUs and found a 600w Corsair CXM which is modular for better cable management, going by the link you sent that should be plenty for the card?
