Windows Embedded POSReady 2009

I have an old laptop and i want to install Windows XP on it but Windows XP Support has ended so no security updates, i heard about Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 that its another version of Windows XP but it still gets updates.
So will it run programs like normal
also will it run small games like Minecraft
Thank you for taking your time and trying to help me

Just install regular XP and do the update patch that makes XP run on POSReady updates.

Wait what do you mean by "update patch"?
Also please answer my original question im still curious if this OS will do the things i ask for

POSReady will do everything, the only difference is that it doesn't have a lot of integrated programs (eg. video player, games). For the patch, just google "windows xp update patch". With it you will recieve all POSReady updates on XP.

Well i don't really care about intergrated apps or perfect powerful performance i have a Desktop Computer for these things
all i care about is to work like Windows XP so when im away from my home i can have a computer with me to watch Movies, Internet Browsing.
And if im lucky enough this laptop might be powerful enough to run Minecraft on atleast 10-20 FPS

I have win 7 on my 2008 laptop, works perfectly. Even minecraft runs 40-60 fps. Mine CPU is core 2 Duo T7300 and GPU is intel, ram 2,5 gb
