Hi guys ive recently got hold of a phenom ii x6 1100t bk ed, after installing it on my Asrock n68c-s ucc mobo its only showing 2 cores on cpu-z the cpu is named phenom ii x6 1105t,
Device manager shows 6 core as dose bios shows all enabled but task manager and msconfig only show 2 cores ive got latest bios amd drivers but ive still no luck...

i would greatly apreciate any help with this issue thanks

Solution
Hmm possibly because you didn't reinstall Windows with the new cpu (just a swap over job) it;s confused. Try; Boot > Advanced options in Msconfig and set number of cores to 6.

Yes, I'd probably go back to the Athlon II X2-250 and try and exchange your Phenom II X6 1100T for a Phenom II X6 1055T.

Boot advanced options in dxdiag would give an indication it would work, not so sure a fresh install would fix but if you have the time it might be worth trying.

In Boot Advanced options anyway, was the number of processes checked at all? If it was, could try unchecking it and reboot, see if that made any difference.

Glad you got it sorted and thanks for ba but i'm kind of confused about the outcome. Did Asrock just not update their cpu support list??

The msconfig boot thing was suggested a few times here but that bewildered me also as to why that didn't show any sign.
