I have recently completed a new build of a pc to be used for architecture work and some gaming and have been testing it out using some Rhino models and rendering through Vray. I am getting very large differences between rendering using the SSD and HDD. The same file saved to the C drive (ssd) took ~ 5 min while when saved to the F drive (HDD) took 32 min. Is this a normal difference? I have never had a solid state drive before. In the future should I save all of my current files and work to the SSD and then move to the HDD for storage after the project is complete? Below are the details of the computer. Rhino and Vray are both installed on the C drive (SSD).
