I have installed two monitors. One cable VGA to an adapter , to fit USB port. The monitors is not working. My HDMI cable to computer is working. Why is the one monitor working and the other not?

USB doesn't actually carry a video signal so normally a USB-VGA "Adapter" is actually some sort of display controller. You generally need to install the drivers for your USB-VGA "Adapter", from the manufacturer.
