Recently, I just built a PC for a friend with all newly bought and unused components except the HDD (with Windows XP installed) and the casing, but for some reason, the computer won't load past the windows loading screen after the POST sequence.
I've tried installing another that particular HDD to my own system, set it to first boot order and it works just fine with the windows installed on that drive.
The new motherboard version currently installed is Biostar H81 MLV3 (LGA 1150 socket,previous motherboard with the windows installed is LGA775) and with processor i5-4460.
So after I turned off the option "Automatic restart on system failure", the system didn't reboot but it produced the following error : http://postimg.org/image/bmn6ccgxl/
Now, I've tried to run memtest and no error is detected.
Having researched some other posts, I found out some people suggested to re-install the Windows since there may be compatibility issues on the motherboard-end, but then I received yet another error just before getting to the Windows 7 installation screen : http://postimg.org/image/837zqk9sp/
