I have i7 4790k processor and a ASUS Z97-P Motherboard. Got around £70 budget i have some ideas but dont want to rush into it.

What ideas, your CPU can handle about anything you want to run, there are (literally) hundreds of choices, how much are you looking for (2x4GB?) 1866-2400 is the best bang for the buck performance wise.
