Hi all
I'm looking to upgrade my Geforce GTX 460 192-bit (768MB) to allow me to game at 1080p. Looking to buy in the next couple of weeks and my budget is £100-150.
My current setup includes:
PSU: Corsair CX400W
Mobo: MSI 770-C45 AM3 DDR3
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445
RAM: 12GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3
GPU: Geforce GTX 460 (192-bit memory bus, 768MB)
Storage: 120GB SSD + 240GB SSD + 500GB HDD
Despite the low power PSU I have no stability issues and this set up has lasted well these past 5 years however, I would like to get a few more years out of this little machine
The H/W charts suggest the Radeon R7 360 might be my best bet - does this seem like a suitable replacement? Will my PSU cope with it? Any other bottlenecks you can see here?
