Is a CPU or GPU more important on a budget?

I'm building a PC soon and I am on a ~$650-$700 budget, and I am wondering:

-Better CPU Build (i5 + GTX 950)
OR
-Better GPU Build (X4 860K + R9 390)

Which would be better for CS:GO, Battlefield 4, GTA V, Star Wars, etc.?

If you buy a fast CPU such as an i5, your computer may be overkill when it is new, but it will be great to use and it will last a really long time before you need to replace it. My son is still gaming on a 7 year old computer because the CPU was very fast in its day.

A GPU is what you need to play games well.
But a GPU is easy to upgrade. As technology improves it seems that GPU power increases fast, but CPU power only increases a little bit. If you buy a budget GPU now, you can get a much more powerful one for medium cost in two years time. My son is now on his third GPU.

Hi alphaline I prepare to select the i5 and gtx 950 or if you have budgets select i7 in order to maximize, so that you will mate the high system requirements of games you wanted to installed, I select i5 because that is intel processors, intel brand is well known of high standing in terms of high performance temperature that your computer will mate during gaming. But the price is high compare to AMD because of high quality.
