can i run this ram on my mother board

The types are compatible - the memory is DDR3 1600, the board is DDR3 1600. However, I haven't been able to find the compatibility lists for that board, perhaps because it is 7 or 8 years old, so you pays your money and you takes your chances.

Oddly, that's a three-channel board, so you might get better performance with only three sticks? What CPU you you have on there?

i7 950, i do remember seeing someone also saying that just having 3 ram cards in might be better, so i think i would just do that
