Can you use an AMD card as a dedicated (AMD equivalent to NVidia's PHYSX)?

Is there an AMD equivalent to NVIDIA's PHYSX? I have a Fury X and an older AMD R9 270. I was just wondering if I can put the 270 to work at all.

No, with an AMD system the Physx is handed off to the processor. AMD cards cant address Physx.

In Xfire the cards have to have the same base chip ie furyx and furyx 270 and 270x and so on.
You can use it as a second, independent card to run extra monitors.
