I have created a Build over on PCPartPicker (And did some of my own researching), I wanted to know how good my build would be for games like CS: GO, and other FPS games.

Keep in mind, this is my first build, I have little experience in this field, and had to keep a low budget (I saved up around $300)

My Build:

Well your going to want a better CPU, a Better GPU and a better PSU and more Memory Ram. Not knowing your full budget doesnt allow us to provide recommendations. You would not be able to game on the pc you built unless you plan on playing 2D Pacman. Provide a full budget and we can recommend a slightly better build.

Your going to be hard pressed to get much gaming out of this pc. However due to your budget it is your limiting factor. This is just my opinion but if you could save up a little more you can be much more happy with what you end up with and have more options to choose from.

Could you all tell me what exactly it is i need to downgrade and what I need to upgrade?
My budget is a tiny bit flexible here, so I could upgrade some things

My Fullbudget is about $320, I am using htat GPU as a temporary GPU until i can save up for a NVIDA GeForce, or something along those lines, and i just picked the PSU at random, which was a Giant Mistake. So could you recommend a better PSU and CPU? Thanks

If you want more responses, don't mark your thread as solved so fast.

The HD5450 is a complete waste of $28. Do not bother. An A10's integrated graphics would be far superior.

This simple setup would be much better for under $300

You probably should have consulted this forum first before buying the parts if you're inexperienced. But then again, mistakes help us grow as people so it's not a bad thing :) Good thing it was only a $150 or so mistake compared to if you wasted a lot more money. But I digress, which parts have you already purchased? I think you should hold off purchasing parts on a whim until you know EXACTLY what you need for your build, not just randomly buying parts you think are good when you see them.

I have bought the case, bought the PSU, the RAM, and the Fan. I have all of the money for everything else, but it is in cash so i must wait.

Wouldn't that processor be worse? it is only 3.1ghz after all, and only 10 dollars cheaper than my cpu

Also, I need 1 onboard USB 3.0 headers.

If you want to overclock you would also have to buy a new CPU cooler which I'm pretty sure you would not want to fit into your limited budget. AMD CPUs cannot handle as much heat as Intel CPUs.

I would want to overclock in the horizon.

another thought: If i bought a cheaper board and a better GPU, would that be good or bad?

You can't really get a cheaper board than the one posted above with USB 3.0 and the FM2+ socket you're looking for unless you buy used or open box (at least not to my knowledge). That's already one of the cheapest boards you can get within your criteria of an FM2+ socket and USB 3.0 ports. But in my opinion, you probably shouldn't be trying to skimp on your board. Although yes a cheaper board and more powerful GPU will give you more performance at the cost of let's say reliability or heat. It really is the absolute base on which your whole rig is built upon.

You should not even be thinking about overclocking on your budget.

Your FX4350 build would be a horrible overclocking build anyway. That motherboard is not really even good enough for that 125w cpu. Ironically, either one of the first two builds I recommended above would be decent for overclocking, even though overclocking won't make any difference anyway.

You won't be overclocking anything on a cheap AM3+ motherboard. The HD6450 is just a newer version of the HD5450 and it's just a terrible.

If overclocking is that important to you, this would be the best for the cheapest.
