I ordered 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400MHz RAM from amazon.
However when I put them in my Asus Z97-A motherboard in dual mode (A2/B2 Slots) the PC keeps turning on and off every 5 seconds.
I tried one stick at a time, one worked and the bios/windows loaded on A2 slot.
I tried the other stick and the PC turned on and kept running but the mobo didn't post I think, just a black screen.
I don't have too much experience with installing RAM and this is the first time it's happened, is one of the sticks definitely defected? And how common is that?
