Hey guys,

While clean installing Windows 10, I accidentally selected to choose to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro instead of Home. My previous Windows was Home, and the activation code is not working right now for this version I believe. Is it because I need to activate it in Windows 7? I seriously do not feel like reinstalling everything again right now, so how can I downgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Home? Thanks all!

Solution
here's what you do.

1. boot into windows 10 you have running now
2. run the setup for the iso file from win 10 installer. if you have it already great windows aill mount the iso automatically letting you run the set-up.exe file. if you don't have the iso file download the home iso from the media creator tool and then run the set-up.exe file https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/
3. select "save my settings and program" from the list when the installer gets that far
4. sit back and wait for it to finish the install. it will install the home version over your pro version and activate itself in the process.
5. enjoy your activated win 10 home :D
