Hi

Hoping someone can help, as right now it has 3 of us all scratching our heads,

Bought a Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 960 WINDFORCE 2X Graphics Card - 4GB this week, opened the box and on the graphics card there are 2 x 6-Pin PCIe sockets,

Problem is, only 1 6-Pin PCIe cable was supplied in the box. I have checked with the shop and that is 'just how it is'.

I checked YouTube videos of unboxing's and yes, that is 'just how it is' .. they all have just one cable in theirs also.

I guess I want to know.. why? Why is there not two cables.

On the previous revision of the card 1.0, the card had an 8-Pin and a 6-Pin socket and both cables were supplied in the box.

Bit stuck now as can't use it. My PSU doesn't have any PCIe plugs.

Bit like buying a pair of shoes and it only coming with one shoe lace, right?

Theres your answer. That PSU is not good enough for the card, if you could even connect it, it would crash under load. And thats at a minimum.

Replace the PSU, get yourself a Seasonic, XFX, or EVGA PSU of about 500 Watts (the XFX TS 550 or the Seasonic SII 520 are both excellent) and you will be fine.
