Hello guys, I have looked for the answer on web, but failed to find it. So here it goes. I have the mentioned motherboard. On it, I connected 2 case preinstalled fans (3 pins) NZXT 2V, they are on sys_fan1 and pwr_fan1, working as i wanted them to. The problem is I have tried to connect 2 intake fans from Fractal design (GP-14, 4 pin PWM). On the mobo there is a 4 pin connector sys_fan2. But in the user guide it says, that the 4th pin is just a reserve. So I am looking for a solution, what do u guys recommend. Thanks!

Not 100% sure what your question is here exactly?

In a very simple sense, a 4pin fan is a 3pin fan + 1 for additional speed/voltage etc control.

A 3 pin fan should work on a 4 pin header (mounted from the left) and additionally, a 4pin fan should also work on a 3pin header (again, aligning to the left).

If you have a 4pin header & a 4pin fan, you've got no issues. I suspect what they mean by "reserve" is it can't always be utilized (don't know for sure that's exactly what they mean though).

While the CPU fan header in user guide is described like this. (1st pin: GND, 2nd pin: +12V, 3rd pin: Sense and 4th pin: Speed control) the sys_fan1 4th pin is mentioned as "reserve". And when I power up the rig, the 2 fans attached to the 4pin header don't start. They just "shake" back and forth, like they don' get full 12v to run.
