I recently built a new PC with an i5 4460 and a GTX 960. In games as easy to run as league of legends I am getting random drops to 30fps with drops as low as 15fps. Looking at MSI afterburner I can see the CPU temperature is constantly over 90 degrees with the usage hitting 100%. I also noticed that the GPU seems to have drops to 0% usage and very rarely has temps over 45 degrees.
I have looked and there seems to be no random CPU hogging process. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
