So I just built my PC and I think the Gigagyte GTX 970 Windforce OC 3X does an strange noise, like a rattle. I'm a bit scared because it's my first time and I don't know if I built it in a bad way.

Solution

No, that's not normal. Are you sure it's the gpu? check the case fans.

Are you sure it's a rattling noise? because the 970 does tend to have some coil whine.

As far as I've read I think your right. I solved that problem putting my computer under my table...
Now, this coil whine / ratlle/ buzz /whatever should worry me? (I want 970 to last for at least 2, 3 years

The card should last a long time, although i'm not sure how well it will age.

Well, now I think about it and this "sound" (a strange rtttttt as I told you) is ALWAYS. SINCE IT STARTS UP.
May it be normal, I never had a big computer (I always had a laptop) just tell me if it's something to worry
(Pd: sorry for bad english)

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!! It wasn't the GPU it was the water cooling (Cooler Master Seidon 120v) I intaled the part which must go over the processor and conected it on a bad way (I puted it on CPU Fan) And the one which had to go on CPU fan is the radiator, right? Tell me if I'm wrong before my PC starts burning pls xD
