Upgrading a Pre-Built PC

Hello,
I bought a pre-built pc about a year ago and i'm finally upgrading it. Id like to make sure that this pc (parts) is fully compatible and runs Good, id like to be able to play games such as Batman Arkham Knight, GTA V. My parts are....

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 2.8GHz (FROM OLD PC)

MOBO: Gigabyte Motherboard GA-970A-DS3P AMD AM3+ 970/SB5200 PCI Express DDR3 USB SATA ATX Retail

STORAGE:Storage (FROM OLD PC)

RAM: 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3

GPU:MSI R7 370 GAMING 4G Graphics Card

PSU:Corsair CX600 CP-9020048-US 600W Power Supply

CASE:NZXT S340 Mid Tower Case CA-S340W-B1 (Glossy Black)

You didn't say what pre-built machine you had so it's impossible to tell what your results will be. Some OEMs use proprietary form factors or motherboard circuits. The CPU should be OK. I doubt they would order custom CPUs for their builds. The storage might also be an issue if they used anything custom as far as mounting or connectors.

Get a better PSU. Dont' skimp on the PSU. Think about it. Everything else in the box depends on clean reliable power. The CX series is a Tier 4 PSU.
