Disclaimer: I am new to PC hardware trouble shooting as I just finished building my first gaming PC last night.
I have a San Disk SSD 120 GB and a WD Blue 1TB HDD for my storage. My problem is that under my C:/ Drive it is only showing storage available of 111 GB (which is now full after downloading my steam games) which tells me its going off my SSD and not my HDD for storage. My HDD is running properly and can be seen under storage devices. Also the location of the SATA plug on my mobo for the HDD is "Bus number 2" and for the SSD "Bus number 0". I don't know if that matters though.
My questions are: Why isn't it using my HDD for my C drive?
Does it matter the location of the SATA port plug for the hard drives?
Can I simply just switch the hardware without losing my stored data?
