r7 260x max temp 80 degrees!

hello guys so i have a sapphire r7 260x and when i played far cry 4 at 1080p with 55-60 fps my card was FULLY on load at 100% overclocked 15% and was at 76-79 degrees should i worry too much or is it okay? can this temperature burn my card?

80 degrees Celsius is fine for the 260X. That's about the limit though. It will probably start throttling frequencies at a little bit higher. Might try cleaning your case fans, etc. I wouldn't worry unless it starts creeping consistently into the low to mid 80's.

As always, there are accessories available aftermarket if you want to get serious about cooling things down.
