Hello

Im looking to buy a new gaming keyboard but dont know which one is the better buy?
My mouse is actually worse that what is included in the devastator package so that would be useful but the tt prime has macros and changable lights and an included software

Which one do you think is better on this pricepoint?
Thank you for your help :)

The mouse seems awesome for the price. I actually review peripherals for articles and publishers, so I will probably purchase that myself and try it out haha.

The Redragon definitely has the price/performance ratio advantage. The g402 is also pretty reliable as I have used it before as my main mouse for about 3 months. Depends on what games you play and what you do on your desktop and personal preference. If you like playing FPS genre games and and like smooth, larger and heavier mice, the G402 would be...

Yeah, the Tt Challenger Prime is the better keyboard at this pricepoint. It has better specs and should last long. I have used the Devastator combo before and it did not fare well.

For a review for the Tt Challenger Prime: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

Any keyboard is better than the Devastator that's around 30 dollars.

The review I posted was the Hardware Canucks one.

The CM Storm devastator has a very short lifespan, usually lasting around half a year. Maybe if you take good care of it, it will last longer.
The mouse wasn't horrible, but its minimum DPI setting was 1000, which gave me trouble with FPS games. It is also a bit flatter than most gaming mice, so using it for long periods of time will strain your hand. Otherwise it is great bang for your buck.

My personal budget combo (which I used for over an year before upgrading, and I still take these when I go out) is the:

Keyboard: Redragon Karura K502

Mouse: Etekcity Scroll X1 OR Redragon M602

Optional Mousepad: SteelSeries QcK (The Best Around)

I did find mouse+keyboard combos. Both are made Redragon, but they are a pretty safe bet because they make pretty good budget products.

Redragon S101 VAJRA Gaming Keyboard, CENTROPHORUS Gaming Mouse, Keyboard Set (27.99)

Redragon S102 YAKSA Gaming Keyboard, 7 Color Backlight, NEMEANLION Gaming Mouse, Keyboard Set (39.99)

If you do decide to get a mouse+keyboard combo, which may be due to the preference of jutted to flat keys (the Karura has flat keys, like on a laptop or Deathstalker), I'd say paying the extra 12.00 is worth it for the more expensive set, as it comes with a reliable mouse that I have used and looks a lot cooler and more durable than others.

Good Luck Picking!

UPDATE: None of the combo options on this list exceed $40, unless you get the Yaksa combo with the mousepad. Hopefully that will help your budget a little.

You're better off getting the Karura and a nicer mouse then.

I don't know what they offer, but you should be getting a 40-50 dollar keyboard and a 20 dollar mouse.

You should get the Karura K502 or the Tt Challenger Prime with a 20-30 dollar mouse

I dont exactly have problems with my current mouse :) (Genius Xscroll PS2) and (modecom vulcano) (i use the genius mostly)
Im only looking to change my keyboard i could get the tt poseidon z with cherry mx blue i think it barely but fitts in my budget i might consider that (only bcs i never used a mechanical before)

Do you think the karuka k502 is better than the tt challenger prime? (There is a very small price difference the karuka k502 is like 1-2$ cheaper than the tt challenger prime) but has no macros multimedia keys and changeable backlighting

Durability wise yes. Depends on whether you use macros or not. I would never use Tt's mechanical keyboards.

No I don't hate them, but their higher-end products (above 50 dollar products) are pretty shitty

Hmmm... That or logitech g402 (this one cost considerably more than the redragon so will depend on my budget :D)

The Redragon Mammoth on the other hand also looks really nice. It has an excellent sensor but I haven't gotten my hands on it to see how it feels. I would say the design is a bit like the G502 in general. Actually it seems like a cheaper version of the cheap Logitech g502. At least thats what I get out of the specs and reviews. It looks great though and should last a decent time. It also should be good for any kind of game and good if you like buttons. Overall, really nice for the price it has.

I've never recommended something without using it first, but I'd say the Mammoth would be the clear choice here. As Logitech delivers in quality but the Mammoth is very versatile and has a great.

Go for it. Redragon is pretty solid at making stuff besides mechanical keyboards. I would say the only disadvantage is that it's not optical. Not that that matters. After reviewing tons of mice like me, there is a difference, but for regular people, it should perform the same or even better. Just make sure to get a mousepad with it.

REMINDER: This is a wider mouse, and has room for your ring finger. I still think it is nice though. I told you it is like the g502 and there are reviews for the Mammoth on Youtube. You should check them out.
