I currently have 8gb of ram in mobo. Has ran great with no issues for about 6 months. Just got 8gb more of the exact model already in system. When i try to add the new sticks in computer wont boot. Take out new stuff and it boots fine. Is there an issue with the new memory sticks or is there something im doing wrong.

When upgrading ram even identical modules purchased at different times may be incompatible.
Always best to purchase in pairs from same retail pack.
