My friend sent me a forum post saying that the GTX 970 can only support up to 4 monitors, however the version I have (Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce Edition) has 6 ports
4x HDMI
1x DVI-D
1x DVI-I
Is it different between the various versions of the card? I can't imagine Gigabyte would include 6 ports if the card could only run 4 monitors. Any clarification on this would be great, thanks
